What's his position (out of the owner's box)?

POLITICAL DONATIONS: According to opensecrets.org’s political donation database, Robert Kraft has donated to both Democratic and Republican candidates and different parties at the state level, including in his home of Massachusetts. While he has donated to the Democratic party and its candidates in several states, he has never made a Republican donation outside of his home state, as politicians from another party can still endorse policies that create sound purpose in daily life but might donate to conservative candidates who he believes might make a difference. Kraft has donated to the Dems more frequently.

VOTING HABITS: It is unclear whom Mr. Kraft has voted for in the past; sources say he is a Democrat. Although Kraft is a longtime friend of former President Donald Trump, there is no evidence that he had voted for him in the elections. According to one source (newbostonpost.com), despite their relationship, Kraft has never made a political donation to Trump.

COVID-19: Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Kraft was very generous in contributing his wealth towards fighting against the virus. According to patriots.com, the Kraft family sent the Patriots’ private jet to places in need and provided resources to help fight the virus. In 2020, he sent his jet to China for personal protective equipment, to El Salvador to deliver Covid vaccines, and bought millions of N-95 masks to help circumvent the virus. Kraft also prevented fans from entering the Patriots’ stadium during the beginning of the outbreak.

ANTHEM PROTESTS: Robert Kraft fully supports NFL players protesting the anthem by kneeling as opposed to his long-time friend and former US president Donald Trump who harshly criticized these plavers. He has called Trump’s comments “divisive” and “horrible.” But remains friends with the former president from business ventures.

Though Robert Kraft has donated to both political parties and is friends with Donald Trump. He remains critical of Trump’s political views (anthem protests and Covid-19). His strong liberal stance on the Anthem protests and Covid-19 also scores him five liberal points. He gets one conservative point for his friendship with Trump (we know it’s a guilt by association fallacy, but we gotta keep an “eye on the ball” here).
